“LADENIA”
Ingredients:
For the dough:
50g lukewarm water
8g yeast
1 teaspoon brown sugar
500g all-purpose flour
50g MALVA EVOO
salt & pepper
1 teaspoon GREEK MIXED HERBS & SPICES
To assemble:
100g MALVA EVOO
1/2 teaspoon BALSAMIC VINEGAR MESSINO
30g sliced MALVA KALAMATA OLIVES
1 onion
500g tomatoes
Salt & pepper
1 tablespoon GREEK MIXED HERBS & SPICES
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
✅ In a mixer’s bowl add the water, the yeast, the sugar, and whisk well.
✅ Set aside for 10 minutes, until the yeast is activated.
Add the flour, olive oil, salt, pepper, the mixed spices, and beat with the hook attachment at high speed for 8 minutes, until there is an elastic dough.
✅ Transfer to a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let it double in volume. Preheat the oven to 180ο C (350ο F) set to fan.
✅ In a baking pan, spread the 50g of olive oil and add the dough to cover the whole surface of the pan.
✅ Chop the olives, cut the onion into thin slices, the tomatoes into large pieces, add the remaining olive oil, salt, pepper, the mixed spices, the sugar, the vinegar, and mix.
✅ Spread all the vegetables over the dough in the baking pan and bake for 60 minutes.
✅ Serve with olive oil.
